To stay legally within Indonesia for personal or work or you have to get a permit that is commonly referred to as a KITAS. To get a working visa KITAS, you will need to be sponsored by your employer, your sponsor must be a company registered in Indonesia.

Entertainment KITAS C312 is for those who work in the entertainment industry, such as models, film directors, film producers, cinematographers, photographers, etc.
Investor KITAS
Investor KITAS is for those who invest and/or are shareholders in a Indonesian company.
Family KITAS
if you married to an Indonesian Citizen, Or married or the kids of someone who have a Working or Investor KITAS here
Retirement KITAS
Retirement KITAS allows elderly foreigners with age 55 years or more to live in Indonesia.
Can I apply for a visa in Bali?
Any non-Indonesian citizen / foreigner visiting Bali can apply for temporary stay visas in Bali, if they meet the following points:
- You are employed by a company in Indonesia
- You are a foreign investor who holds at least IDR 1 billion worth of shares in a company in Indonesia
- You are a foreigner who is married to an Indonesian national living in Indonesia
- You are a dependant / family member of a foreigner who has a valid KITAS
- You are a foreign national who wants to retire in Bali and is at least 55 years old.
Working KITAS
IDR 16.900.000
Starting from- With a Working KITAS you are able to legally work, and earn money in Indonesia.
- It must be sponsored by an Indonesian company (PT at least in Medium Size or PMA)
- The KITAS is valid for 5 years
- Each year the visa will need to be extended. There is no need to leave the country to arrange the yearly extensions.
Entertainment KITAS
IDR 13.500.000
Per Month- Entertainment KITAS C312 is for those who work in the entertainment industry, such as models, film directors, film producers, cinematographers, photographers, etc.
- The KITAS is valid for 6 months and it cannot be extended
- The sponsoring company must have the relevant business license.
Investor KITAS
IDR 11.900.000
Per Month- Investor KITAS is for those who invest and/or are shareholders in a Indonesian company
- The KITAS is valid for 5 years
- Each year the visa will need to be extended. There is no need to leave the country to arrange the yearly extensions.
Family KITAS
IDR 11.000.000
Starting from- The KITAS is valid for 5 years
- Families with this KITAS are not allowed to work in Indonesia
- Family Kitas follows the sponsor’s Kitas (Working or Investor Kitas)
- Your children can participate in educational facilities such as schools and courses
- The maximum age for the children registered on the KITAS is 17 years old.
Retirement KITAS
IDR 15.500.000
Per Month- The KITAS is valid for 6 years
- Retirement KITAS is for foreigners who will spend their
- Retirement in Indonesia
- Each year you will be required to complete a yearly extension.
- There is no need to go out of the country to arrange the yearly extension.

How long does it take to have a KITAS?
It depends which kind of Kitas you are looking for. If you are planning to open a business, firstly we will need to open your company before starting the application process for a Kitas.
In general, Kitas can take 1 to 3 months to be issued, the time frame depends on what KITAS you need.
How long does a KITAS last?
An investor Kitas is valid for 6 years. It needs to be extended every 2 years. The other KITAS visas are valid for 5 years and need to be extended every year.
Can I live in Bali permanently ?
Yes, you can live in Bali permanently.
The best way for this is to secure all your investments (including the villa you are renting) by opening a PMA (foreign own company) and apply for a Kitas to become a resident of Bali
