The C22B – Internship Visa allows you to come to Indonesia to complete an internship for a period of 180 days. The visa is immediately valid for 180 days upon entry into Indonesia. 15 days before the visa expires, it is possible to apply for a 180-day extension.
You can also apply for a 60-day visa, which can be extended twice for an additional 60 days each.

This visa does not allow you to earn a salary or receive money in Indonesia. You are not allowed to sell goods or services.

To obtain this visa, the company hosting your internship must sponsor you.
A sponsor is mandatory for this visa and is required to support your application to immigration. The sponsor must be a local Indonesian company that guarantees your visa request.

The visa process takes 5 working days* (excluding weekends and public holidays). A standard processing time is also available.
The C22B is a single-entry visa—leaving the country will cancel the visa.
We can convert this visa into a residence permit only if the sponsor remains the same.
We cannot start the visa process if you are already in Indonesia.

Extension:
We can begin the extension process 10 days before the visa expires.
The extension takes approximately 7 working days* (excluding weekends and public holidays).
An immigration appointment is mandatory for a photo session. We will organize the appointment and inform you of the date and location. All extensions are for 180 days only.

The C22B Visa is the only visa that legally allows you to do an internship in Indonesia.

Process:

Step 1: Submit the required documents
Step 2: Our team reviews your documents
Step 3: Visa payment
Step 4: Process begins once payment is received (5 working days*, excluding weekends and public holidays)
Step 5: You receive your e-visa by WhatsApp or email. You have 90 days to enter Indonesia
Step 6: Arrive in Indonesia and show your e-visa at immigration. Once through immigration, your visa becomes active

What is important to know

This visa does not allow you to receive money or earn a salary in Indonesia
You must be sponsored by the company where you will intern
The visa is single-entry; leaving the country will cancel it
You can apply for either a 180-day visa or a 60-day visa
An immigration appointment is required for visa extensions (photo session)
You may extend the 180-day visa once for another 180 days
You may extend the 60-day visa twice, each time for 60 days
If you overstay, the penalty is IDR 1,000,000 per person per day
We can convert this visa into a work permit only if the sponsor is the same
We can assist your sponsor in providing the required documents
Immigration may change regulations at any time
If you currently hold a VOA (Visa on Arrival), it cannot be converted to a C22B
We cannot begin the visa process if you are currently in Indonesia
We cannot sponsor this visa ourselves
