It is a common and preferred company type or structure chosen by foreign businesses and investors, as it is designed to meet the legal requirements stipulated by the government.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR COMPANY CREATION

  • Company name in 3 words (please send it for validation)
  • Company address (virtual office can be used if no physical office)
  • Names of shareholders and their respective shares (must appoint a director and a commissioner).
  • Foreign address
  • Photocopy of shareholders’ passports
  • Personal and professional telephone numbers and email addresses
  • Address in Indonesia
  • List of activities to be carried out by the PT PMA (broad field of activity)

VIRTUAL OFFICE

  • The Virtual office provides a virtual address used to domicile the company.
  • The price is IDR 8,080,000 per year

PROCESS FOR COMPANY CREATION WITH KITAS

  • Creation of the PT PMA (1 month)
  • Submission of official company documents
  • Opening of the business account
  • Deposit $10,000 into the account and send bank statements after two months
  • Launch of the Kitas (7 days)
  • Receipt of e-visas
  • Arrival in Indonesia : 1-month process for finalizing the Kitas.

Important points to note

  • PT PMA papers can be modified at any time. Changes require notary approval and take approximately 2 weeks. Modification costs range from IDR 13,500,000 to IDR 17,500,000.
  • For Kitas creation, you need to provide photocopies of passports, Indonesian address, ID photo, and 3 latest personal bank statements showing at least USD 2,000.
  • During Kitas creation, leaving the territory is not permitted for the first 30 days after arrival in Indonesia. For Onshore Kitas, a minimum stay of 30 days in the territory is required. Recent Indonesian government rule changes require 10 billion PT PMA capital for Kitas acceptance.
  • Additionally, $10,000 must be in the company’s bank account during Kitas application.

Prices for Kitas

  • 2-year OFFSHORE Investor Kitas: IDR 16,000,000 (passport valid for at least 32 months).
  • 1-year OFFSHORE Investor Kitas: IDR 13,500,000 (passport valid for at least 18 months).

Kitas extension

  • Investor Kitas over 2 years: IDR 15,000,000
  • Investor Kitas over 1 year: IDR 12,000,000.
